Family Unity Day was organized to address the concerns of inner city

families of Norristown.  Family Unity Day is dedicated to promoting the gifts, skills and talents of African Americans in the Norristown area.

The event focuses on six disciplines: arts, music, education, sports, health, and entrepreneurship. The event is intended to share the richness of African American culture, and promote community wellness. The event serves as a channel of communication, and as an outlet for African Americans to appreciate their heritage.
