Explorations BHRS - Now Hiring!

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit's partner organization, ExplorationsPHP, has introduced a new program called Explorations Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Services (Explorations BHRS), which serves the increasingly complex needs of children/adolescents in need of behavioral health rehabilitative services, otherwise known as “wraparound services.”

Explorations BHRS is actively recruiting for a number of positions throughout Montgomery County, including Behavioral Specialist Consultants (BSC), Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS), and Mobile Therapists (MT). These positions offer competitive pay and extremely flexible hours, including school-day hours, afternoon and evening hours, and/or weekend hours.

Positions Available

• Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS)
  • Requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in a related human services field, OR Bachelor’s degree in unrelated field and at least one (1) year of full-time paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with children/adolescents, OR Associate’s degree or 60 college credits and at least three (3) years of full-time equivalent paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with children/adolescents. (Part-time, W2 employment); $18.00-$19.00/hour)
• Mobile Therapists (MT)
  • Master’s Degree in a mental health field with a clinical practicum/internship providing individual, family and group therapy and a minimum of one year direct experience providing clinically supervised treatment to children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances. (Independent Contractor; $35.00 per hour)
• Behavioral Specialist Consultants (BSC)
  • Licensed psychologist, Master’s or Doctoral level, or Master’s level clinician with demonstrated training in behavioral intervention techniques and a minimum of one (1) year post-graduate, full time experience providing clinically supervised treatment to children and adolescents (Independent Contractor; $37.00-$61.50 per hour, based on credentials and experience)
