Eagles mania has gripped the countryside.

For the most notorious and passionate fanbase in the world, that means it's Christmas in October. And while there's no Crisco on the poles off Oregon yet, there's plenty of mania to be found.

"I feared for my life," McClane, who covers the Eagles, reported Brown said jokingly.
Once Brown noticed the man didn't belong with the reporters, he told team officials. The players reportedly laughed about it.
The man's identity has not been publicized and it's not clear if there will be any charges filed against him.
The Eagles defeated the Rams by a score of 23-14 and are now 5-0 to start the season.
