Fire Battled At Norristown Home Early Friday

No one was injured during the blaze.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Crews battled a fire at a Norristown residence early Friday morning.

The incident occurred on the upper stories of a row home on Jacoby Street.

Flames and smoke could be seen pouring from the third story windows of the home, as firefighters used ladders to reach the scene.

The blaze was put out swiftly. No injuries were reported, but three families were displaced and are being cared for by the Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is not yet clear and remains under investigation, the fire department said.
