Fire On Norristown Property Contained

NORRISTOWN, PA — A shed caught fire over the holiday week in Norristown but was swiftly extinguished by first responders.

The incident occurred in the evening of Dec. 27 at the structure located off of Calamia Drive, which is located south of Plymouth Road.

The significant fire billowed large plumes of smoke into the air, but was quickly contained by crews from the Norristown and Bridgeport fire departments.

Firefighters were able to prevent the blaze from spreading to any of the other adjacent structures on the property.

The cause of the fire is not yet clear.

No injuries were reported.
