Five Norristown Men Among 'Deadbeat Dads' Arrested In Montco Raids

Nine ”deadbeat dads,” including five Norristown men, were arrested in a night raid on Wednesday for failure to pay child support, according to Montgomery County Sheriff Russell Bono.

The men arrested by Bono’s deputies collectively owed $96,827.90 for 10 children, Bono said.

Twelve deputies along with K9s tracked the men across Pottstown, Royersford, Norristown, Spring City, Lansdale, Bridgeport, according to Bono.

• Alexander Aviles of 121 2nd St., Bridgeport, Pa., owed $999.83 for one child.
• Victor Bellitto of 1011 New Hope St., Norristown, Pa., owed $1,971.30 for one child.
• Carlos Brown of 1045 Powell St., Norristown, Pa., owed $553.53 for one child.
• Jamaris Crawford of 710 Stanbridge St., Norristown, Pa., owed $1,308.00
• Colin Graff of 188 Berwick Pl., Lansdale, Pa., owed $3,876.13 for one child.
• Lawrence Nash of 133 Oakland Ave., Lansdale, Pa., owed $36,749.15 for two children.
• John Oplinger of 316 Rowan Alley, Pottstown, Pa., owed $3,710.05 for one child.
• John Pifath of 807 Arch St., Norristown, Pa., owed $842.53 for one child. ’
• John Williams of 1441 Willow St., Norristown, Pa., owed $46,817.38 for one child.

Five others are still wanted are being actively sought, the Sheriff’s office announced.

• James Davis whose DOB is 12/19/1980 and last known address was 212 2nd Ave., Apt B., Royersford, PA 19468 and 36 Elio Cir., Collegeville, PA 19426 owes $14,314.90 for two children.
• Shawn McAlarnen whose DOB is 5/24/1982 and last known address was 16 Oak Dr., Spring City, PA 19475 and 1129 Main St., Linfield, PA 19468 owes $5,119.17 for one child.
• Desbee Corrine Doctor whose DOB is 4/2/1981 and last known address was 785 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464 owes $1,361.65 for one child.
• William M. Rupelli whose DOB is 8/31/1968 and last known address is 1228 W. Bridge St., Spring City, PA 19475 owes $36,632.78 for one child.
• Carey A. Granger, Jr., whose DOB is 1/29/1976 and last known address is 3792 Cedar Lane, Collegeville, PA 19426 and 33 W. Vine St., Apt. B-6, Pottstown, PA 19464 owes $15,342.28
