KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The man who inspired "Catch Me If You Can" spoke in King of Prussia this week on stopping scams and identity theft.
Frank Abagnale, portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio in the hit 2002 movie, spoke to a crowd at Valley Forge Casino on Tuesday night.
The event, organized by the AARP's Pennsylvania Office, focused on how elderly residents particularly could learn to spot scams and prevent their families from becoming victims.

Abagnale noted two red flags to look for in every potential scam , according to the Inquirer. The first is a request for immediate money, the second is asking for information.
He reportedly added, when referencing social media: "I don’t use it, and I’m never on it. Once someone has your full name and your birthday, they’re well on their way to stealing your identity."
