No Arrests After Threats At Methacton High School Led To 'Shelter In Place' Order

Threats found scrawled on the bathroom stall at Methacton High School led to "shelter in place order" on Friday.

Methacton High School issued a "shelter in place" order Friday morning after a threat was found scrawled on a bathroom stall, but no arrests have been made.

The "non-specific" threat was found on the stall at about 10:45 a.m., according to a notice issued by Methacton Superintendent David Zerbe.

Law enforcement arrived on the scene to investigate before the scene was cleared within the hour.

The school said that added officers stayed on premises throughout the rest of the day.

Both Lower Providence Township Police and Pennsylvania State Police responded.
