Get A Flu Shot, Get Free Admission To Elmwood Park Zoo

Officials are using the "boo at the flu" event to incentivize the public getting vaccinated.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County officials and local health leaders will host a special free flu shot clinic at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown this weekend.

Officials are using the "boo at the flu" event to incentivize the public getting vaccinated.

All visitors to the zoo aged three and older who receive their flu shot will be allowed free admission into the zoo.

The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Montgomery County Immunization Coalition, Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, Elmwood Park Zoo, ACLAMO, and Eric's RX Shoppe are working together on the initiative.
