ICE Activity In Norristown, 1 Person Detained

NORRISTOWN, PA — One person was detained after ICE activity in Norristown early Monday morning, multiple immigrant advocacy agencies said.

The incident occurred on March 2 near the intersection of Hamilton Street and Main Street at around 9:30 a.m.

The individual taken into custody has not been identified.

Photos and videos from the scene showed several ICE agents around a vehicle which advocacy groups said was left behind after they left the scene.

U.S. Homeland Security has not publicly commented on the incident.
