Increase In Thefts From Vehicles Around Norristown
Purses, GPS units, phone chargers, wallets, other electronics, and more have been stolen, police said.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Numerous blocks in Norristown have experienced an increase in thefts from vehicles, police said.
Police reported a total of 13 incidents during October, with most of the incidents occurring between midnight and 5 a.m.
Purses, GPS units, phone chargers, wallets, other electronics, and more have been stolen, police said.

The thefts have occurred on the 700 block of Buttonwood, the 600 and 700 blocks of Noble, the 700 block of Stanbridge, the 700 block of Chain, the 700 block of George, the 900 block of Stanbridge, the 1100 block of Beech, the 1200 block of W. Elm. the 1300 block of W. Marshall, and the 1000 block of W. Washington.
Authorities urge residents to always lock vehicles, and to never leave anything out in plain view. If you see anything suspicious, call police at 610-272-1111 or 911.
