Police said that there has been a recent spree of thefts from vehicles in Norristown.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Police said that there has been a recent spree of thefts from vehicles in Norristown.
Chief Mark Talbot said that the incidents have mostly occurred overnight.
The areas that have been hit by thefts include the 600 to 800 blocks of Chain, George, Kohn, and Haws, police said.

The suspect has targeted vehicles in alleyways and makes entry by breaking a window, according to authorities.
The suspect has been identified as a dark-skinned black male, about 18 to 22 years old, and weighing around 160 pounds.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned B/M, approximately 18-22 YOA, 160lbs.
Police urge all residents to be mindful of their surroundings and to call 911 immediately to report any suspicious activity.
