Intermediate Genealogy Workshop

Hone and expand genealogy research skills.

The Historical Society of Montgomery County’s fall genealogy course will help you delve deeper into the past! Genealogist Rose Brown will present this four week workshop, Intermediate Genealogy, for those who want to go further into their genealogical research and learn more about the process of tracking down history. The workshop will begin on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, 6:00- 7:30 and continue every Tuesday evening through September 27.

Our instructor, Rose Brown, has been working with family genealogy for over 40 years. She served as part-time librarian at the Historical Society for 18 years, and during that time she handled genealogy requests and assisted in research which added to her vast knowledge of genealogy research techniques. Brown has been teaching “Introductory Genealogy Workshops” for 14 years and “Intermediate Genealogy Workshops” for 7 years.

Classes will be held at Society Headquarters, 1654 DeKalb Street, Norristown, Tuesday evenings in September (The course includes 4 classes held on September 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm).
