Investigation Continuing After Norristown Rowhome Fire
Neighbors said that at least one pet died in the blaze.
NORRISTOWN, PA — An investigation is underway after a Norristown rowhome was damaged during a fire this week, authorities said.
The incident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on the 600 block of Sandy Street.
When crews arrived they found the blaze coming the third floor of the building, which was the end unit of the rowhome.

"First in engine companies made quick work" of the blaze, the Norristown Fire Department said.
Neighbors said that one pet died in the blaze. No injuries to humans were reported.

Firefighters were clear of the scene by 1:45 p.m.
Several nearby crews assisted Norristown on the blaze.
