Items From 50 Burglaries Around Montco Area Recovered: DA

More than 1,000 stolen items, worth around $1 million altogether, were recovered recently in Montgomery County.

Items lost in 50 burglaries in Montgomery County and the surrounding area have been recovered by authorities.

Leroy Boose, 57, of Willingboro, New Jersey, and Anthony McDaniels, 50, of Philadelphia, were arrested and charged in connection with the numerous burglaries, which in total resulted an estimated financial loss of more than $1 million between 2017 and 2018, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

Items stolen include jewelry, electronics, antiques, clocks, musical instruments, taxidermy, artwork and G.I. Joe collectibles.

Authorities found more than 1,000 stolen items in Boose and McDaniels homes, as well as storage facilities the pair rented, according to the DA's office.

Burglaries occurred in Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Delaware counties.

Anyone outside of Lower Merion Township who was a burglary victim and is looking to recover their items must provide the name of the police department that investigated the incident.

Boose and McDaniels were arraigned Friday. Boose is being held on $3 million bail, and McDaniels is being held on $2.75 million bail.
