K9 Memorial Brick Added During Norristown Bocce Ball Tournament
Montco Sheriff and widow of late corporal held dedication ceremony at memorial K9 bocce fundraiser.

A K9 vest and memorial brick was dedicated in the name of the late Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Cpl. James “Baldo” Baldovsky at the 2ndAnnual “Bocce for Baldo” memorial bocce tournament fundraiser Saturday morning.
Host Sheriff Russell Bono, the MCSO K9 Unit, and Baldovsky’s widow, Marie Baldovsky, will dedicate a custom safety K9 vest and lay a memorial bocce court brick in memory of her late husband, who was also a retired Towamencin Township Police Department K9 Officer. Baldovsky passed away on March 9, 2014 after a battle with cancer. Funds raised during the event will go towards K9 safety equipment.

The presentation was held on the bocce court at the rear of the Holy Saviour Club, 436 E. Main St., Norristown, Pa.
