Kibitz Room, Popular Jewish-Style Deli, Shuts Down In King Of Prussia
The deli renown for its "Jewish cheesesteak," large portions, and pickle bar will be no more.
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The Kibitz Room in King of Prussia, a popular Jewish-style deli, has been evicted and is likely to shut down, according to media reports and officials.
The Inquirer reports that the owner of the shop won a judgement of more than $194,000 in rent and other fees.
The owner, Brandon Parish, is seeking to keep a Cherry Hill location open.

But reports indicate Parish does not expect to attempt to reopen the King of Prussia location.
The deli had its grand opening in the Valley Forge Center last June.

The Kibitz Room has been one of the best-known Jewish delis in the region, becoming known for its massive pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, homemade matzo ball soup, and pickle bar.
They also created the "Jewish Cheesesteak," which contains brisket, coleslaw, Russian dressing and pepper jack cheese.
