King Of Prussia Mall To Undergo Multimillion Dollar Renovation

King of Prussia Mall is set to undergo another massive renovation project this spring.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — King of Prussia Mall is set to undergo another massive renovation project this spring. The multimillion dollar project will implement vast improvements on the section of the mall formerly known as the Plaza, according to mall owner Simon Property Group.

Additions include LED lighting, new flooring, glass handrails, a brighter color scheme, additional soft seating areas with charging stations and renovated restrooms.

Construction, which begins in April, will be completed overnight to minimize the impact on shoppers. Officials hope to complete the renovations at some point in early 2019.

“We’re excited to announce yet another revitalization project at King of Prussia,” Bob Hart, general manager for the mall, said in a statement. “This remodel will mark the center’s ninth redevelopment project and the third in three years. This track record clearly demonstrates Simon’s dedication to providing the best shopping, dining and entertainment experience possible. We’re looking forward to celebrating the completion of these interior updates with the community."

Simon has not yet announced what new stores and restaurants will be added.
