KOP Businessman Given Community Service Award

Congratulations to King of Prussia's Eric Goldstein for receiving the F. Karl Schauffele Community Service Award.

The Main Line Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of its 2016 awards in eight different business categories, and will honor each winner at an upcoming celebration in Malvern.

A Celebration of Business Leadership will be held on Thursday, June 23 at The Desmond Hotel & Conference Center, according to a news release.

The event will salute this year’s business leaders and the Leadership Main Line graduating class as they receive recognition for leading their businesses and communities, the release states.

“One of the important roles for The Main Line Chamber of Commerce is to help people throughout the region to better understand the impact of our member businesses that provide jobs, paychecks and tax dollars that reduce the burden on citizens," said Bernie Dagenais, President & CEO of The Main Line Chamber of Commerce, in a statement.

Large Business of the Year: Vertex, Berwyn

Medium Business of the Year: Partner’s Consulting, Inc., Havertown

Small Business of the Year: Wayne Bed & Breakfast Inn, Wayne

Nonprofit of the Year: Home of the Sparrow, Exton

Green Business of the Year: Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia and Lower Merion

Emerging Leader of the Year: Janelle Snyder, SnyderLAW, Wayne

F. Karl Schauffele Community Service Award: Eric Goldstein, King of Prussia District

CEO of the Year: Nanette Carney, The Carney Group, Blue Bell

The reception begins at 11:00 am followed by lunch and program from noon to 1:30 p.m.
