KOP Man Traveled To Philippines For Child Sex: Feds

The man traveled to the Philippines multiple times, staying for months and sexually abusing "numerous" children, according to authorities.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A Montgomery County man has been arrested after traveling to the Philippines to have sex with children, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced in the unsealing of an indictment Tuesday.

Craig Alex Levin, 64, of King of Prussia, used the Internet to track down numerous victims, and then coerced the child into having sex him, authorities said.

Levin allegedly traveling to the Philippines repeatedly, staying for months at a time and targeting vulnerable children, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Levin was arrested in July 2019 while he was taking a 15-year-old girl to his hotel room, authorities said.

“Craig Levin felt safe in the Philippines," Tara A. McMahon, acting Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Philadelphia Division, said in a statement. "If Mr. Levin thought no one in the U.S. would know or care about the abuse because it took place on the other side of the world, he was badly mistaken."
