The Last Day To Register To Vote In Pennsylvania Is Coming Up

One of the simplest and simultaneously most important civic duties of American is voting. With a consequential election just weeks away, the deadline to register to vote is rapidly approaching.

Pennsylvania residents have until Oct. 9 to register. Go to register.votesPA.com to fill out the registration application online. The online voter registration service was signed into law by Gov. Wolf in 2015, and has been used by thousands of Pennsylvania residents.

You can also register to vote in person. The location will vary depending where you live. See below for a full list of voter registration locations.

The 2018 general election will be held on Nov. 6. To find out where you go to vote, see here.

All United States citizens are eligible to vote if they will be at least 18 years of age as of the next election.

Tuesday, Sept. 25 marks National Voter Registration Day, an annual event held on the fourth Tuesday of every September to encourage citizens to register to vote. Local, state, and national organizations mobilize as part of the effort.

Paper applications are also available at area post offices, libraries, and municipal buildings.

The absentee ballot deadline is Oct. 30.
