This time, scam callers are making residents think they did something bad enough that they have to turn themselves in to authorities.
Typically, scammers leave victims a voicemail, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The voicemail includes a number — 215-366-0877 — which victims are ordered to call back.
When victims call back, they are ordered to leave their name and number, information presumably used by the suspects for criminal purposes.
