Lifelong Norristown Woman 'Had a Gift for Making People Happy'

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Rosalie A Werkheiser (Interrante) beloved wife of Charles Werkheiser went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the age of 79. She was born and raised in Norristown and attended Norristown High School.

She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and was a vigil prayer warrior for her loved ones. Mom-Mom RoRo had a gift for making people happy and providing laughter whenever she was around. You couldn’t help but love her and it is hard to imagine life going on without her. However, she had deep faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which gives her family solace in knowing that although absent in the body she is now in the presence of her Lord.

In addition to her husband Charles, she leaves behind six children, Teri Falco (Chuck), Donna Hoetzer, John Burnheter (Melissa), Michele Casey, Thomas Werkheiser (Angela) and Darla Barfield (James). Together Rosalie and Charles have 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Interrante and Sally Interrante (Zummo). She was the youngest of eight children 3 brothers and 4 sisters all in which preceded her in death. She worked many years at Suburban General Hospital in the Central Supply Unit and then she lovely babysat and cared for children for 18 years prior to her retirement.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Friday morning, December 23rd from 9AM to 10:30AM which will be followed by a Going Home Celebration of her life immediately afterwards at the funeral Home of Volpe Funeral Home, 707 W. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA
