Local church donates to a needy family

A local family has been blessed by the outpouring of the community

A Norristown family that has experienced many difficulties and setbacks including being homeless, has recently received not only housing but items to fill their new apartment. Power In The Cross Ministries, a church in Norristown, met the couple and their children at the Salvation Army. They had nothing but the shirts on their backs. After contacting Calvary Baptist School in Lansdale where one of the children of Power In The Cross attends, the school was able to donate and provide a crib, tables, beds, clothes, toys, kitchen essentials, a pack n play, and everything needed to completely fill the apartment. Power In The Cross donated many items and furniture. This was a joint effort of the community and their generous outpouring into this beautiful family. The family has been truly blessed by all that they have received. This is a great example of what happens when the church and community work together to help those in need. This is the second family Power In The Cross has helped to supply furniture and household items to. If you would like to contribute in any way to this family, contact Power In The Cross Ministries on their Facebook page.
