Local Union Gets $1.5M For New Hall, Community Center
Laborers' Local 135's new union hall and community center in Norristown will be an "asset to the region," local officials said.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- A grant of $1.5 million has been provided by the state for the construction of a new union hall and community center in Norristown.
Laborers' Local 135 will receive the grant, thanks to the state's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, State Rep. Matt Bradford's (D-Montgomery) office announced this week.
“Thanks to the work of many local officials and community members, Norristown, our county seat, is in the midst of many exciting redevelopment projects,” Bradford said in a statement. “This project will be an asset to the region as we work to ensure our local workforce is part of this redevelopment.”
