Look Inside KOP Mall's Proposed Multimillion Dollar Renovation
Here's what the proposed renovation at the King of Prussia Mall could look like as early as 2019.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The King of Prussia Mall is continuing to grow, as they recently announced a new multimillion dollar renovation plan that would provide a massive overhaul to the portion of the formerly known simply as "The Plaza."
The renovations will give the interior of The Plaza a brighter, airier look, as additions include a brighter colors, glass handrails, brand new flooring, LED lighting, and numerous soft seating areas, where visitors can charge their personal devices.

Renditions, provided by project architect GH+A Design Studios to Simon Property Group, the owner of the mall, show white arches, glass banisters, and an even greater abundance of natural light and skylights.

Officials hope additional couches and lounges provide a more relaxed atmosphere for shoppers.

"We're excited to announce yet another revitalization project at King of Prussia," Bob Hart, general manager for the mall, said in a statement when the renovations were first announced just over a week ago. "This remodel will mark the center's ninth redevelopment project and the third in three years. This track record clearly demonstrates Simon's dedication to providing the best shopping, dining and entertainment experience possible. We're looking forward to celebrating the completion of these interior updates with the community."
