Mail In Ballot Boxes, Deadlines For 2023 Elections In Montgomery Co.

The county is also still in need of more volunteers to staff polling locations. What to know:

NORRISTOWN, PA — Election season is here, deadlines are rapidly approaching in Montgomery County.

The deadline to register to vote in Pennsylvania is Monday, Oct. 23.

Residents can apply for mail-in or absentee ballots until Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7, and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Nov. 14 marks the final day that military and overseas absentee ballots may be received.

The county will once again open up drop boxes around the area starting on Oct. 28 through Election Day. The following locations will have a box:

Volunteers needed

Officials say that the county remains in need of more volunteers to help work the polls on Election Day.

Specifically, volunteers are mostly needed in Towamencin, Upper Moreland, Lower Moreland, Cheltenham, and Plymouth.

Some 2,800 residents of Montgomery County are already signed on to volunteer for staff polling places, as well as to help canvass absentee and mail-in ballots.
