Man Bites Friend's Ear In Assault Outside King Of Prussia Restaurant: Police
The pair were walking together when the man attacked his friend from behind, police said.
UPPER MERION, PA — A man bit his friend's ear after attacking him from behind outside of an restaurant in King of Prussia recently, according to police.
The incident occurred on Thursday, June 8 at around 4:15 a.m. outside of Sullivan's Restaurant on 700 W. DeKalb Pike.
The victim had gotten into an argument while walking around the area with their friend, police said.

The man punched the victim from behind, and then bit the victim's ear and hand while continuing to punch, according to police.
Authorities were called to the scene and the suspect, who police did not identify, fled the area. He briefly evandered police before they caught up to him at the SEPTA bus stop at Mall Boulevard and Court Boulevard. An investigation found he was already wanted for a separate aggravated assault incident in Philadelphia.

The victim was treated at a local hospital and released.
Formal charges and preliminary hearing against the suspect are pending.
