Man Caught Breaking Into Cars At Upper Merion Apartment Complex: Cops
Police said the man, dressed in all black with ski mask, had a fake license plate taped over his real one.
UPPER MERION, PA — A man prowling around a parking garage in Upper Merion broke into several vehicles to steal items before he was caught red-handed by police, they said Tuesday.
The incident occurred on March 12 at around 4:00 a.m. on 301 Village Drive, at the Indigo Apartment complex.
Police were called about a "suspicious male" and arrived to find the suspect wandering around the parking garage, dressed in all black with a ski mask around his neck.

The man was by a vehicle that had a fake license plate over his real license plate, police said.
They discovered he was not a resident of the building and had been stealing from cars in the garage, according to officials.

The man, who was not identified by police, was charged with theft from motor vehicles, criminal trespass, loitering and prowling at night, and related counts.
