Man Convicted of Sexual Assault of Girl, 9, in Norristown
A man who previously served jail time for indecent assault has been convicted for sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl in Norristown.

A man has been convicted after sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl in Norristown, court documents state. Timothy Paul Stednitz, 39, had also been convicted of indecent assault in 1995, according to the Megan's Law Website.
Stednitz, most recently of Upper Pottsgrove, will be sentenced at a later date, according to court documents.
According to the Times Herald, Assistant District Attorney Brianna Ringwood is seeking a 25-year sentence.

The assaults reportedly occurred while he visited a Norristown residence with the victim between October 2012 and March 2013.
Montgomery County Children and Youth Services submitted a tip to authorities, leading to Stednitz's arrest.
