Man Murders Brother In Montgomery County: Police
A 60-year-old man has been arrested for killing his 64-year-old brother, Montgomery County officials announced.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A 60-year-old man has been arrested for killing his brother, Montgomery County officials announced. According to information from the Montgomery County District Attorney's office, Jamison Bachman of Philadelphia is in custody for murdering his 64-year-old brother in Elkins Park.
Cheltenham Police found Harry Bachman deceased shortly after 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, when they were called to his North Sterling Road home for a well-being check. A family member told police he was supposed to meet them Friday night and did not show up.
His body was found in the basement and there were "obvious signs of a violent struggle," information from the District Attorney's office said. The victim appeared to have suffered blunt force trauma to the head and body, authorities said.

Authorities also allege Jamison Bachman took his brother's red Ford Escape from the driveway. The vehicle was located by police in the parking lot of the Fairfield Inn Hotel in Upper Moreland Township. The Montgomery County SWAT-Eastern Region served an arrest warrant and was able to take the suspect into custody without incident.
He is facing charges of first-degree murder and third-degree murder.
