Man Sentenced For 2015 Double Homicide In Norristown

The man convicted of the double homicide of two 26-year-old men in Norristown in 2015 has received his sentence.

NORRISTOWN, PA — The man convicted of a double homicide of two 26-year-old men in Norristown in 2015 has been sentenced to life in prison.

Court documents show that Obrian Stephen Lewis, now 25, has been sentenced to two life terms in prison for the crime. He was also sentenced to an additional 14.5 to 29 months on top of the two life sentences.

The incident occurred on Nov. 4, 2015 at the Park Place Apartments on Sandy Street in the borough.

Lewis allegedly shot Quentin Watson Jr., 26 of Eagleville, and Marcel Edwin Edwards, 26, of Philadelphia, multiple times, police said. The pair, who were childhood friends, were discovered dead the next morning in adjacent apartments.

Lewis was captured by authorities shortly thereafter.
