Man Shot During Home Invasion In Norristown, Suspect At-Large: Cops

A 30-year-old man was shot during a home invasion in Norristown just after midnight Thursday, police said. The suspect is at-large.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- A Norristown man was shot when a suspect entered his home in the early morning hours Thursday, Norristown police confirmed.

The incident occurred just after midnight on September 22 on the 1200 block of West Washington Street, authorities said.

A 30-year-old man, who resides at the house, sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder during the invasion, police said. He suffered a broken clavicle and is in stable condition at the hospital, according to police.

The suspect remains at large. He is described as a black male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a thin build, authorities said.
