Man Steals $1600 In Wiring, Conduits From Montco Home Depot: Police

Authorities said the man rung up a drill bit at the cash register and left the store without paying for anything else.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Authorities are investigating after they said a man stole more than $1,600 in wiring from a Montgomery County Home Depot recently.

The incident occurred on May 22 at the store on 295 Armand Hammer Boulevard in Lower Pottsgrove.

The man walked up to the checkout counter with a drill bit, as well as 250 feet of wire and 250 feet of conduit tubing, police said.

He paid for the wiring, but he did not ring up the rest of the items, worth a total of $1,610, on the cash register.

The man then left the store. No arrests have been made, and Lower Pottsgrove police are continuing to investigate.
