Man Wanted For Carjackings Captured At King Of Prussia Mall: Police
Police said they used security footage to track him from a stolen car to where he was making a purchase inside the mall.
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A man who stole a vehicle in King of Prussia mall was captured inside the mall and was also wanted for multiple carjackings and a string of other crimes, Upper Merion police said.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 27 at around 12:30 p.m.
Upper Merion police officers were patrolling around when the mall when they found the stolen vehicle in the mall's Red lot, near Bonefish Grill. The Audi had been reported missing in New Jersey just days earlier, on May 24, police said.

King of Prussia Mall security worked with officers to review security footage, and they were able to track the suspect inside the store where he was making a purchase.
The 30-year-old man from Philadelphia was not identified by name by police.

In addition to the vehicle theft, the man was wanted on two carjacking warrants, credit card fraud, a different vehicle theft, and additional charges, all in New Jersey.
He was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
