Masked Man Sexually Assaults Jogger At Gunpoint In Norristown: DA
Breaking: a woman was jogging in Norristown Farm Park on Tuesday morning when a man in a black mask, carrying a handgun, approached her.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A woman was sexually assaulted while jogging in Norristown Farm Park on Tuesday morning, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred Aug. 1 at 10:50 a.m. at the Farm Park, which has miles of running and hiking trails.
The suspect, a black male wearing a black mask, dark sweatshirt, and armed with a handgun, sexually assaulted her at gunpoint, the DA said.

The victim, a 19-year-old woman, called 911 immediately, and West Norriton Police, East Norriton Police and Montgomery County Detectives responded to the scene, the DA said.
Authorities searched the area but could not find the suspect.

The victim was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where she is currently being treated for her injuries, the DA said.
