Massive Sinkhole Opens Up In Montco, Shuts Down Highway

UPPER MERION, PA — A massive sinkhole opened up along Route 202 in King of Prussia Monday night, shutting down the highway and causing additional traffic in the area.

The hole is between the Walgreens and the Tires Plus.

PA American Water crews are on site repairing the hole. Officials say that repairs will likely take “most of the day” Tuesday.

Traffic is being detoured onto Saulin Boulevard and South Henderson Road.

Delays should be expected.
