Memorial Day Observance at Historic Montgomery Cemetery

Community invited to honor the fallen at Historic Montgomery Cemetery

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The community is invited to honor the veterans buried at Historic Montgomery Cemetery. Wreath laying, speeches, military re-enactors, and more will be part of this day of remembrance.

Over 400 veterans are buried at this special place, including five Civil War generals. Visitors meet at the gate-house at 11:00 am to begin the day’s observance. Activities are held outdoor and include walking to the gravesites. Light refreshment will be served at the gate house following the program
