Missing Man Found Alive In Valley Forge Park
Police and rangers said they were able to track the man using a newly purchased drone.
UPPER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — A man who had gone missing from the King of Prussia area earlier on Thursday was found alive Thursday night in Valley Forge National Park.
The man was located by Upper Merion police and Valley Forge Park Rangers using a drone that was recently purchased by the township, authorities said.
The exact circumstances of the man's disappearances were not clear, though there was no foul play involved.

Authorities searched through the heat of the day Thursday, braving temperatures and heat indexes that soared into the 90s.
The man was finally found in the early evening in the area of Valley Forge Memorial Chapel.

Police said he was taken to a nearby hospital for observation and treatment.
"Thank you to the members of the public, volunteers, and fire department search teams who helped us with this wide ranging search in this extremely hot weather," Upper Merion police said in a statement.
