Mission BBQ Opens in King of Prussia

A new restaurant has opened in KOP: Mission BBQ, aiming to serve "a great meal, prepared the American way."

The first restaurant ribbon cutting in King of Prussia for 2017 took place Monday as Mission BBQ officially celebrated its grand opening.

Their "mission" is to serve high quality barbecue, especially to first responders and individuals who serve the nation.

The eatery held a special preview night last Friday, donating all proceeds to Liberty USO.

"It is our Mission to give friends and neighbors a place they can feel good about while sitting down to a great meal prepared the American Way," said Steve Newton, Owner of Mission BBQ. "We also believe in giving back to our Community, so some of the proceeds from your lunch or dinner could be helping out the same people sitting next to you: You’re local Firefighters, Police Officers or a member of our Military that have answered the call to defend freedom. Charities that make a difference, for those in need, right here at home."

The new restaurant is located on 120 Village Drive.
