Montco Baby Shower Disrupted By Cookies Laced With Pot: Report
Some guests reportedly just became dizzy, while others were sick enough to go to the hospital.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Montgomery County baby shower was disrupted after a delivery of custom cookies turned out to be laced with pot, according to a report.
The incident occurred at the North Hills Country Club in Springfield Township back in Oct. 2016, according to the Pottstown Mercury.
The suspect, Philadelphia baker Jamie Troxel, 33, was sentenced to a year of probation in Montgomery County Court last week on charges of reckless endangerment, court documents show.

Some of the baby shower guests felt merely dizzy, while others reportedly felt sick enough to go to the emergency room.
Troxel, who owns Toxy's Treats in south Philadelphia, reportedly said the pot cookies were mistakenly delivered to the party, and the court agreed that she had not sent the THC goods to North Hills on purpose.

Some of the cookies were even given out as gifts at the end of the party, so that guests were eating the cookies and getting high as they were driving home, the report states.
