Montco Inmate Tried To Hire Hitman To Kill His Ex-Girlfriend: DA
He worked with a Norristown man to offer up $15,000, a Cartier watch, and a car as payment to whoever "took her off the map," police said.

NORRISTOWN, PA — An inmate at Montgomery County Correctional Facility tried to hire a Norristown man to murder his ex-girlfriend, police said.
Inmate Zunir Wilson-Walker, 22, and Jadan Uriah Jones, 20, of Norristown, were both charged with criminal solicitation of first degree murder, conspiracy to murder, and related counts. Wilson-Walker had already been jailed on previous charges of strangulation and assault of the same woman, police said.
Wilson-Walker lost his phone privileges at the prison earlier in 2024 due to repeated verbal abuse and threats made to his ex-girlfriend, who is also the mother of his child, police said. The woman had a protection from order issued against him, meaning that it was illegal for him to contact her.

Wilson-Walker then used another inmate's telephone account in the prison to contact Jones, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said. On Nov. 9, he asked Jones to post a story on a fake Instagram profile and offer $15,000, a Cartier watch, and a car as payment in exchange for beating killing the mother of his child, according to authorities.
Jones specifically asked for an Instagram story - under the account name "walkdownmontt" - so that it would vanish in 24 hours and not raise the attention of police, the DA said.

Search warrants late filed with Instagram showed that Jones' cell phone number created “walkdownmontt” about 10 minutes after that phone call with Wilson-Walker, police said. Eight stories appeared under that account name on Nov. 9, including derogatory comments about Wilson-Walker's ex-girlfriend, her home address, where she would be and when, a description of her car, and more, according to officials.
Jones offered the payments that Wilson-Walker had specified for her to "get took off the map," authorities said.
On Nov. 25, authorities discovered that Wilson-Walker had used another inmate's phone account, which led authorities to listen to the recorded calls and spurred their investigation, police said.
Wilson-Walker was arraigned on the new charges on Jan. 28 and remains at Montgomery County Correctional Facility. Jones was arrested on Jan. 29, was unable to post $99,000 bail, and was booked at the prison.
Preliminary hearings for both are set for Feb. 11.
