Montco Man Facing Dozens Of Child Pornography Charges
Authorities said the Norristown man had dozens of child pornography images on a flash drive in his residence.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A Norristown man is facing felony child pornography related crimes after authorities found dozens if child pornography images on a flash drive.
Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said Russell Schultz, 45, of Corson Street in Norristown, was arrested and charged with 69 counts of possession of child pornography.
Schultz was arrested following an investigation that began March 4 when the Montgomery County Detective Bureau got a Cybertip that came from an upload of a file of two photos of young naked boys in what was determined to be child pornography.

Investigators traced the upload to a computer in Schultz’s residence.
On May 20, a search warrant was executed at Schultz’s residence and a USB flash drive was seized from Schultz’s desk.

Forensic examination of the drive found 69 files of child pornography.
Schultz was arraigned on May 22 by Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy, who set bail at $250,000. He was unable to post bail and was remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 4.
