Needless to say, Pasek showed how hard people in the Philadelphia area work to achieve their dreams.
The song teams the film's stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling up for a song and dance in the 2016 film about a struggling actress (Stone) and a struggling jazz pianist (Gosling).
Now we wait to see where "City of Stars" lands in the Oscar nominations.
