Montco Police Officers Graduate From Prestigious Academy
The Northwestern University "intensive" leadership program works with law enforcement agencies from around the globe.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Two Montgomery County police officer have graduated from a prestigious national training academy, and officials are proudly hailing the accomplishment of two of their own.
The Upper Moreland Township Police Department's Sergeant James Robb recently completed the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command's 10 week course.
"The intense 10-week program is designed to prepare law enforcement professionals for success in senior level command positions within the police department," Upper Moreland Police Chief Andrew Block shared. "Areas of focus include budgeting, media relations, organizational behavior, community policing and more."

Towamencin Township Detective Sergeant Dan Jusko also completed the course.
"Through a combination of academics and practical applications, the 10-week SPSC curriculum zeroes in on such critical command-level content as planning and policies, media relations, organizational behavior, budgeting and resource allocation, human resources, contemporary policing, and more," Towamencin Police added.
