Montco Prepared For Election Day Intimidation, Electoral Abuse
Montgomery County is ready to fight back against any reports of voter intimidation or election interference, authorities said.

NORRISTOWN, PA — The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office is preparing for Election Day by making prosecutors ready to handle potential complaints.
The 2016 election was marred by numerous threats of voting place violence and plans to disrupt the day's events. No disruption is "expected" on Tuesday, but authorities are nonetheless prepared.
"A cornerstone of our democracy is a fair eleciton, and every citizen has the right to cast their ballot unimpeded," DA Kevin Steele said Monday. "Out office is ready to look into any irregularities or problems with peole voting."

Prosecutors working on maintaining the integrity of the election will be led by First Assistant District Attorney Edward F. McCann Jr., who will work with other ADAs and Montgomery County Detectives throughout the day.
