Montco Resident Wins $170K Prize Playing Online Game

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A Montgomery County resident won a massive payday playing an online game with the Pennsylvania Lottery this week.

The player won a prize of $170,876.67 on a game called "Double Jackpots," the Lottery announced.

It's described by the Lottery as a match-style game, where players attempt to match their numbers with the prize-winning numbers. They can gamble more as they go for a chance at bigger prizes.

"Game play features a chance to multiply your prize and a chance to activate two different jackpot bonus games," the Lottery says. "Activate either jackpot bonus game for a chance to win the corresponding current progressive jackpot amount."

The specific hometown of the player within the county was not divulged by the Lottery.
