Montco Resident Wins $250K Powerball Lottery

One lucky Montgomery County resident struck gold during the weekend drawing.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — One Montgomery County resident struck it big when they won $250,000 jackpot from a recent Pennsylvania Lottery drawing.

The Powerball with Power Play ticket was purchased online for the Saturday, April 13 drawing.

The Lottery declined to provide the specific hometown of the winner.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 7-33-40-43-69, and the red Powerball 10.

Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth only $50,000.

The Lottery said that 33,500 tickets won prizes of some amount during Saturday's drawing, in which the Powerball jackpot rolled up to $63 million.
