It comes as counties across Pennsylvania work to help former convicts navigate the system following the passage of the Clean Slate Bill. Individual who receive a pardon, not just an expungement, will automatically have their criminal records cleared, thanks to a bill signed into law late last year.
Former clients of the Montgomery County public defender's office can also meet one on one with an advocate for advice. To schedule an appointment or to learn more, email PDExpungements@montcopa.org.
