NORRISTOWN, PA — One of the most severe snowstorms in recent history slammed into the greater Philadelphia area on Sunday, bringing significant impacts to the Montgomery County area.

More than a foot of snow was measured in several communities, and more could be on the way Tuesday.

Blizzard conditions could continue through much of the day Monday, with heavy winds and blowing snow continuing to accumulate.

Final accumulations could still be notably more as additional snow gathers and new estimates are made in local communities.

  • Fort Washington: 12 inches
  • Ardsley: 10.5 inches

  • Fox Chase: 13.8 inches
  • Lansdale: 8.8 inches
  • Penn Wynne: 10.5 inches
  • Telford: 9.2 inches
